Dr. Shehrebanu Merchant understands the challenges that adolescent girls face and has had over 27 years of experience helping them transition into adulthood. Dr. Merchant creates a personal environment with her adolescent patients that encourages them to share their health concerns. She also provides them with important information and guidance about managing menstrual cycles and preventing sexually transmitted infections. In addition to helping young women take care of their sexual health, Dr. Merchant encourages her young patients to pursue healthy nutrition goals, exercise regimens, body images, and lifestyles.
